Anita Wernström
Anita Wernström is an artist and educator, based in Stockholm. Through performance, installations, video and collage, she deconstructs her world, focusing on the politized body and visual pleasure. Based on postcolonial and feminist theories, she has developed an intuitive, emotional conceptual language with humorous, activist and poetical outputs. She has studied at the Slade School of Fine Art in London and her works have been shown at Bloomsbury New Contemporaries and Camden Art Center in London and Fullersta Gård in Stockholm.

A light show designed for the Busstorget building referring to the beating heart of the project but also referring to dialogue around the body as archive and what happens with the pulse as one feels unsafe or in (under) stress.
A show in lead light at night to be seen from the outside.

Selected people are gifted with an artwork made out of embroidery to wear as they are moving around in the space.
